Well I know I told you all (that's american for yous, ewes or U's; it could also be correct English grammar but I wouldn't know) that I would update my blog regularly BUT I have had a very big 3 days!

This is a brief summary with no photos or video....but I have taken a lot I will post soon........as soon as I work out the technical details..editing etc!!!!  If there are spelling mistakes, grammatical errors or completely incomprehensible..........local saying....."Bad Luck. If you are the first customer for the day you will have good luck"!!

Where will I start?

• big day on Tuesday to go from Darwin 6am flight to Singapore for 5hr stop over arriving HCMC airport, negotiating taxis to ensure I found the legitimate ones, finding the right room at hotel, squid and 2 beers for tea and asleep in no time.
• early morning buffet breakfast (included in room price) Phu Bo, omelet, dragon fruit, pine apple and little sugar bananas...........yum!
• negotiate an hourly rate with the rickshaw (that's what Recce will call his son.....after me??) driver out front of hotel room to take me to all motor bike shops in the area. I highly recommend this if you plan to ride a motor bike in HCMC as rickshaw drivers are low down in the traffic food chain but highly skilled. Best 2 hours of training I could of had....he was very good but didn't really understand what I was after or if he did know where to find it.
• lunch and a haircut and beard trim.....mmmm..."hairdresser busy but have foot massage while you wait........need dead skin removed from feet...mum-ma is best.....she single you know......love kangaroo......hairdresser ready.......shave...you need facial......now you look lovely have massage........misunderstanding about agreed price...." I'm sure you all (ewes) can fill in the gaps!
• have tea and a drink tomorrow is another day!
• Breakfast....same same....google bike shops and walk......and walk........and walk....talk?...Does anyone have a Suzuki GN?
• Lunch.....market place local food stall...chicken curry...yummy 
• head to where arranged meeting point for Monty as a familiarization......motorbike for sale!!! That's it! I'm going to buy it!  Meet owner and his mate...expats...I knew this is what was meant to happen!  Thanx Terrence and John. Few beers lets have tea and go home.
• Breakfast...same same....no standard room available...need to find new room. Green-suites hotel where bike is has room......clean tidy...very friendly..no problemo.
• check out check in...lunch.....Din Ky Restaurant .....live fish...crabs....clams.....prawns...and more.....in tanks at market rate...yes please
• sort out paper work....transfer ownership etc...go for a walk to the park....see water rats...birds...get boots polished...mended....renegotiate the agreed price....the was some confusion......apparently?
• pork and prawn spring rolls and Phad Thai for tea..home to bed
• beef noddle soup (Phu Bo) and ice coffee (cafe sau da) from local corner cafe breakfast....surprise surprise......take ownership of bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• rest of the day riding around HCMC......get lost....I mean.....take the long way for the experience..........learn the chaotic system that starts to make sense!!!!
